Whilst Kent takes every precaution to ensure the protection of goods placed in our care, it would be foolish to assume that an unforeseen event, beyond our control, might never occur. With the implementation of the Financial Services Reform Act in March 2004, Kent, as an authorised representative of a licensed insurance broker, is able to assist you to arrange insurance for your goods both in transit and in storage. Kent holds a Customer Goods In Transit and Storage insurance policy. Should you decide that this insurance meets your needs, Kent can arrange cover under this policy for you.
* In addition, with the introduction of our computerised sales inventory and recording system, Kent can now provide you with an "inventory and indicative valuation form" in excel format, which can be subsequently amended by your employees.
* If you ask us to arrange insurance for you, we will give you a Product Disclosure Statement (PDS) which describes the main features of the policy. You should read the PDS to decide if the policy meets your needs, objectives and financial situation and make an objective decision based on your own assessment. Kent cannot advise you on which policy/ies are best for you.
